Purbasha Maji

 I am working as a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow at the Rubber Technology Centre, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur since September 2020. My work mainly focuses on the development of elastomeric nanocomposites for biomedical applications. My research interest covers thermoplastic elastomer based nanocomposites based on biocompatible nanofillers, their surface modification, compounding, new fabrication techniques, characterizations.  I am also interested in synthesis of nanomaterials from sustainable sources and surface modification of fillers for new age applications. Another key area I wish to work in is shape memory effect of styrenic block copolymers.
